Most often the subject of the Sunday article is the biggest political news of the week just passed. This week in my opinion it is a tie. Therefore, I will cover them both today and tomorrow. Tomorrow’s concentration will be with the late Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. in mind.

About Throws
At one point during my coaching career I worked for an Athletic Director who shared my love of baseball. It was our mutual favorite sport despite the fact that the school didn’t even have a baseball team. We enjoyed a running debate of bad throw vs. no throw with each of us taking opposite sides of the question. Without getting into the baseball weeds I will simply state that we were both simultaneously correct and incorrect – it depends on the situation and the degree of bad. Read on – I’ll tie this into today’s American politics.
Passport Please!
The first time I heard the term vaccine passport was on the morning of February 13, 2021 when the RN administering my first dose of the Pfizer vaccine handed me a card and said to keep it, bring it back on March 6th when I got my second dose and that she thought it would eventually become part of a vaccine passport program. Time will tell but I think she was on to something.
