Trump Is Rigging The System

Donald Trump spent considerable time during the 2016 campaign complaining that the electoral system was rigged. At one point he said he would only accept the results if he won. In retrospect that appears to have been his Plan A which would have resulted in Trump TV. On an almost daily basis as Russiagate unfolds it becomes more apparent that to some degree he illegally manipulated it in his favor. Sink Or Swim With Trump

Sunday former Teapublican Representative Joe Walsh announced he would challenge Donald Trump for the 2020 Republican presidential nomination. Former Republican Massachusetts Governor William Weld had previously announced. Although I doubt anyone can upset Trump in the GOP primary, time is running out for a challenger with a better than snowball’s chance in Hades to step up. Let’s explore. The Announcement That Could Shake Up 2020

There are still some people waiting for another Democrat or two to jump into the 2020 race. I don’t know who the 2020 Democratic nominee will be; in fact I still don’t have a personal favorite yet. Here is what I do know: the 2020 Democratic nominee is already in the race. We have plenty of talent to choose from and there is nobody on the outside that can enter the race and snatch the golden ring in Milwaukee. There is one person who has yet to declare who can have a major effect on the race and he is a Republican. Do I have you intrigued? Some Presidents’ Day Thoughts

Today is Presidents’ Day, one of those national holidays that sneak up on you mainly because most people don’t get to celebrate it. Unless you are in education, finance or government there is a good chance it is just another working Monday. If you are a senior citizen like me you remember when we had both Lincoln’s and Washington’s birthdays off every February. With winters as cold and snowy as they were in Western New York those two February Mondays off from school were very welcome in my youth!
