America A. T. – Part Ten

The following is the tenth installment in a series of undetermined duration and frequency about life in America after Trump (A.T.).

At this point we know the Trump administration will end and Joe Biden will be president as of the afternoon of January 20th.  Whether he will directly take over from Trump or there will be a brief Pence administration as part of Pardonpalooza is an unknown.  In any event Biden’s plate will be overflowing and one of the pressing matters will be rejoining the world community as a leader.  Today I’d like to explore six related challenges.    Continue reading America A. The Wisdom Of A Sportscaster

I spent ten of the most enjoyable years of my life in the Tampa Bay area. At that time I drove a lot and the car radio was one of my companions (along with audio books). I’m not the biggest fan of sports radio but the late Chris Thomas had a show on WDAE that I seldom missed. One of his favorite sayings was, “One or the other, but not both.” Sometimes he used a more elaborate derivation of it, “One or the other, but certainly not both.” It really didn’t matter because the basic message is the same.
