You knew yesterday’s article was incomplete so here we go. (Again? Still?).
Last weekend the big news was the 601st mass shooting of 2022 in America. I didn’t major in math in college but that is about two a day on average. America has a gun problem and we are doing way too little about it. America has a gun culture which is difficult for much of the rest of the world to understand. I accept that, and in some ways am part of it. That doesn’t mean we must have a gun problem. The two are not mutually inclusive.
Please pardon the grammar in the title but today is another one of those musically inspired days. Donald Trump became President of the United States as the result of what increasingly looks like a purloined election in which he failed to gain the support of the majority of the American electorate. I’m not making excuses for Hillary Clinton. It never should have been that close; she should have beaten him going away.
