It Never Seems To Stop

I guess I can consider myself to be a writer. I’ve been doing this on and off most of my life. I have written for four different newspapers during that time; but this blog is my passion. There is an old adage that a writer never has a day off because if you care about and are any good at what do you are always thinking about it. A few weeks ago my wife and I went to the theater and I spent way too much time analyzing the writing instead of enjoying the wonderful performance. (My wife scolded me and as usual she was correct.) The diversions of the Trump administration are becoming more concerning every day. The title of Matt Taibbi’s book, Insane Clown President, is more profound with each turn of the calendar’s page. What is truly dangerous is the evil being perpetrated while we watch the circus or bask in the “glory” of the lack of a major legislative achievement. Thank You France!!!!!!!!!!

On June 6, 1944 allied forces led by the United States and operating out of England landed on France’s beaches to liberate France and make the free world safe. It didn’t all end that day. Precious lives and treasure were still to be expended; but that was the turning point from which the evil of fascism never recovered. Yesterday France may well have returned the favor. Pivot, Fake or Dance?

As I contemplated just what approach to take to this article I thought about some of the similarities of dance and offensive moves in basketball. I know just enough about dancing to know I should refrain from participation whenever possible. My achievements in basketball came much more while wearing a suit and tie on the bench than in short pants and sneakers on the hardwood.
