Scandal, it just seems to be synonymous with the Trump administration. There are 24 members of President Trump’s Cabinet. Nine, or just over one-third, have been implicated in scandals. It is late Thursday morning as I write this article. You can’t possibly read it until early Sunday morning. I doubt the situation in Texas and Louisiana will be completely under control by Sunday. Yet on Tuesday President Trump visited Texas purportedly to tour the damage Hurricane Harvey had inflicted on the Lone Star State and bring aid with him. Early Thursday evening I was sitting in a fast food restaurant trying to eat with my oldest grandson. I had just thrown my sandwich in the garbage receptacle, which gives you an idea of what I thought of it. I sipped my soda as he finished his meal when my iPhone vibrated with a news alert from the Washington Post informing me that Donald Trump had just announced he would nominate Linda McMahon to head the Small Business Administration.
