Slow Dancing In DC

It is fairly early on Wednesday afternoon as I commence writing this article for early Thursday morning’s publishing and my biggest fear is that it will be somewhat stale by the time you read it. There is an elaborate and seemingly continuous dance going on in Washington these days. Most of the events I will cover took place since Monday afternoon and in one case I may have to speculate. Not Smart Enough. Really?

Sunday on Fox News Sunday White House Press Secretary Sarah Huckabee-Sanders told Chris Wallace the following as part of a discussion about the release of Donald Trump’s taxes. “Frankly, Chris, I don’t think Congress- particularly not this group of congressmen and women – are smart enough to look through the thousands of pages that I would assume President Trump’s taxes will be.” Sarah Huckabee Sanders saying that anyone else isn’t smart enough; now that is rich!
