Outraged? Remember In November

Notice: In order to cover today’s topic as I deem fit some of the language used and the subject matter of some portions may be a bit “too adult” to stay within what some would consider PG.

The news first got significant national attention last week Tuesday although the precipitating event actually occurred the preceding Friday. The event I speak of is the Alabama Supreme Court ruling that a frozen embryo is a child. That’s not a misprint, you read it correctly. I’m not saying it makes sense; in fact, my opinion is 180 degrees the opposite.

Pro-baby. Oh Baby!

22 years ago today I was talking to my biggest customer in Tarpon Springs, Florida when I heard the news of the attack on the Twin Towers. Today I’m retired and living in North Carolina’s Triangle Region. In 2001 the January 6th domestic coup attempt replaced 9/11 as the worst attack on America. But today I want to spend a few minutes on what potentially could be a more threatening attack on American democracy – today’s Republican party.

The Other Vaccine

The COVID vaccines have mostly done their job, in America and other wealthy nations anyway. Unless there is a more dangerous mutation, COVID’s threat is now manageable. In America there is another large threat to health and beyond. It is the Republican party. It is not hyperbole to say it is just as deadly; in fact a case can be made that it kills many more Americans. What we desperately need is a vaccine against it. The most interesting thing is that the vaccine already exists, and is both widely available and affordable. What it is may surprise you. Read on to discover.

An Answer And A Path To Victory

Perhaps the most remembered line from the 1974 movie Blazing Saddles is, “Where da white wimmin at?” Politically I’ve been wondering the same thing, albeit with proper English, for years. While even with Donald Trump as the GOP standard bearer women as a demographic have voted for the Democrat the sub-demographic of white women broke slightly for Trump.
