Over the past few days, I have become convinced that the pandemic is with us through at least the coming winter. By “us” I mean America. It didn’t have to be this way, but it is. My biggest political fear is that the wrong person, Joe Biden, will be blamed.

What A Day To Clean Up
Today is Veterans’ Day in America and for me, in particular, it is time to do a “clean up” article. As I sat down to write this I though what an appropriate juxtaposition of circumstances. In too many cases we asked our veterans to clean up our messes and I want to clean up the backlog of notes I have on things I have neglected to cover.

It Came On A Monday Morning
I was contemplating what to write Monday morning when a news bulletin came across that the FDA had granted full approval to the Pfizer vaccine. My plans and thoughts instantly changed.
Triple Digits
I woke up early yesterday morning (July 14, 2021). As has been my habit for months one of the first things I did was check the previous day’s 14 day rolling average of new COVID-19 infections in the United States. The percentage increase was shocking but unfortunately not surprising. The clock has hardly stuck 8am as I begin to pen this.
