SPECIAL NOTICE: RECOMMENED READING ADDITION

I just added A World In Disarray by Richard Haass to the Recommended Reading Section.  Dr. Haass is a bit right of center but this book proves liberals can learn from conservatives (and I certainly believe vice versa).  He mainly deals in his area of expertise:  foreign policy.  There are lessons to be learned from this work and I agree with most of his geopolitical observations and analysis.

When he ventures into domestic policy our thinking parts ways as would be expected since we are of different political philosophies.  In his deserved defense, Haass is not afraid to criticize Presidents of either Party.

Outside

Today’s article is not what has become the boilerplate 9/11 article. However it does deal with a serious threat to world and national security. I have had an idea in my head for several days that I just had to get out into the public. It is more than just “outside the box” and I’m colored way “outside the lines”; with the right people in place and some luck it just might work. It is based on accepting a reality that most Americans simply refuse to accept. Let’s explore. Continue reading Outside
