Tomorrow is February 1st and with it comes Black History Month. Despite the best efforts of Republican Governor and 2024 presidential wannabe Ron “Kinky Boots” DeSantis that is still a fact. You can probably already see where I’m going.

2022 Book Of The Year
We are getting close to the last minute holiday shopping crunch – or for you procrastinators the planning stage. Sizes and selections are starting to be a bear. For online shoppers (and there are more of us especially as our lives changed more rapidly due to the pandemic) delivery is now a consideration. Today I’ll make what has become my annual plea to give the gift of knowledge. In the process I’ll reveal tellthetruthonthem.com’s Book of the Year for 2022.
The Best “Off Season” By An American College
We speak of off seasons mainly in sports. We look at who made the best trades (although the biggest often come near the in-season trade deadline), who had the best draft and who did the best in the free agent market. Today colleges are year-round operations but they still to a great degree take the summer off. With that background I’ll announce the winner and then spend the rest of the article justifying my decision. And the clear winner is Howard University.
