The following is the tenth installment in a series of undetermined duration and frequency about life in America after Trump (A.T.).

At this point we know the Trump administration will end and Joe Biden will be president as of the afternoon of January 20th.  Whether he will directly take over from Trump or there will be a brief Pence administration as part of Pardonpalooza is an unknown.  In any event Biden’s plate will be overflowing and one of the pressing matters will be rejoining the world community as a leader.  Today I’d like to explore six related challenges.    Continue reading America A. We (Americans) Are Not Alone

It is Tuesday afternoon as I “pen” this. I woke up this morning and shortly thereafter read the New York Times and the Washington Post as is my normal routine. I was glad to see that the players and soccer coach in Thailand were rescued; first from a humanitarian standpoint but also because it was the only good news. America is in trouble and so are many other countries. The danger is the growing influence of right wing extremists in positions of authority. Let’s explore.
