The Other Vaccine

The COVID vaccines have mostly done their job, in America and other wealthy nations anyway. Unless there is a more dangerous mutation, COVID’s threat is now manageable. In America there is another large threat to health and beyond. It is the Republican party. It is not hyperbole to say it is just as deadly; in fact a case can be made that it kills many more Americans. What we desperately need is a vaccine against it. Amongst The Distractions

The news last week was dominated by the Trump administration’s handling of the refugee crisis on our southern border, Trump bragging about how great he is (his big example was what he considers to be his great achievement with Kim Jung-un) and Melania’s jacket. In short, Trump created the crisis, he got his behind handed to him in Singapore and I really don’t care what the First Lady wears because she is largely irrelevant.
