I was born, educated and lived the first 47 years of my life in New York State so I guess I’ll always have a soft spot in my heart for it. (That still doesn’t negate the fact that I don’t miss the snow.) Recently its rising political star Attorney General Eric Schneiderman was forced out in a matter of hours when he was exposed in a scandal. The speed with which he resigned makes me believe there was a lot of fire behind that smoke and that somebody who was politically motivated let the cat out of the bag. A Morning’s Reading
I pen this posting on early Tuesday afternoon. Thus far it has been a day of anticipation for a political junkie. President Trump’s announcement on America’s continued participation in the Iran Nuclear Deal is promised to come soon. (It came during this writing and I’ll comment on it soon.) It is Primary Day in four states that Trump carried in 2016 and everyone is waiting to see the results. Add to that the suspense that surrounds Gina Haspel’s hearing before the Senate Intelligence Committee on Wednesday. What was a political junkie to do this morning?
