The Supreme Court announced the passing of Associate Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg at 7:28 pm on Friday evening. At 8:51pm Friday evening Republican Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell issues a statement that read in part, “President Trump’s nominee will receive a vote on the floor of the United States Senate.” Those are the facts. Slow Dancing In DC

It is fairly early on Wednesday afternoon as I commence writing this article for early Thursday morning’s publishing and my biggest fear is that it will be somewhat stale by the time you read it. There is an elaborate and seemingly continuous dance going on in Washington these days. Most of the events I will cover took place since Monday afternoon and in one case I may have to speculate.
