I have mocked the MAGA (make America great again) theme of the 2016 Trump campaign as unpatriotic and a flat out lie. America is a great nation. In my opinion it is the greatest nation in the history of the planet. Not perfect; but sum and total by far the best. I feel fortunate to have been born an American and to have lived my life here.
