For those of us who paid attention one of the lessons we learned from Martin Luther King is that demonstrations bring attention to a problem; then the difficult work of solving the problem begins. The title of today’s article is Police Reform. If anyone things I will have a comprehensive answer in the next few paragraphs, I thank you for the compliment, but I will simultaneously apologize for failing. The Endorsement Of Kamala Harris
I’m among the vast majority of political observers who expect the Democrats to win control of the Senate this November. Arithmetic is part of the reason. The Republicans have to defend 24 seats while the Democrats only have to defend ten to maintain the status quo which leaves the Democrats plenty of room to pick up five seats (six if by some quirk they fail to retain the White House). The least vulnerable seat is in California. Longtime Democratic Senator Barbara Boxer is retiring but because of California’s unique primary system the only two contenders are both Democrats. From a partisan standpoint the Democrats literally can’t lose. Nonetheless tellthetruthonthem.com has decided to endorse Kamala Harris for the United States Senate in California.
