It seemed like it would never end but late Tuesday evening the 2022 election finally did with Rev. Dr. Senator Raphael Warnock narrowly defeating a totally unqualified Herschel Walker in a relic of Jim Crow runoff. There are a lot of opinions in that sentence and I stand by every one of them!

Brevity is not one of my strong suits but it is my plan today.
I find it terrifying that at this late stage with less than month to Election Day Hershel Walker is still a very viable candidate for the United States Senate! What can the voters be thinking? Better yet, are they thinking?
It Never Seems To Stop
I guess I can consider myself to be a writer. I’ve been doing this on and off most of my life. I have written for four different newspapers during that time; but this blog is my passion. There is an old adage that a writer never has a day off because if you care about and are any good at what do you are always thinking about it. A few weeks ago my wife and I went to the theater and I spent way too much time analyzing the writing instead of enjoying the wonderful performance. (My wife scolded me and as usual she was correct.) Winners Anyone? (Maybe Almost Everyone)
As I commence writing this article the networks are characterizing the Alabama special Senate election as “Too Close To Call”. I prefer the term inconclusive. That only applies to who got elected, Democrat Doug Jones or Republican Roy Moore.
