Tuesday Bill Barr testified before the House Judiciary Committee. I watched significant portions of the hearing live. Basically Barr lied, told right wing mythology tales (the latter is a subset of the former) and ran out the clock. Later that evening the two lead segments of CBS’s 60 Minutes were dedicated to the same topic. The two news organizations had collaborated on the pieces. Let’s explore.
