Last Tuesday night I chaired a meeting of the board of a non-profit so I taped the debate. Based on the past debates and the huge field in all honesty I wasn’t expecting much. Over the next few days I watched it. I was pleasantly surprised. Let’s explore. Continue reading A Pleasant Surprise

An October Surprise? (And Some Current Stuff Too)
It’s Thursday. I had a wild idea the other day and there are a bunch of things that don’t constitute a full article (in one case yet) but that I wanted to cover. How to resolve my dilemma? Why not combine them? Let’s explore. Continue reading An October Surprise? (And Some Current Stuff Too)
Lots Of Smoke
Wednesday night I had a chance to settle down in front of the television for a few hours. Earlier that day there was a report of a woman who claimed to be in a Donald Trump “sponsored” teen beauty pageant years ago where Trump walked in on her and her fellow contestants while they were in various state of undress including in some cases fully naked. His argument was based on a demonstrably false assertion, but that is par for the course for the Trump-Pence campaign. The politically unwise (I’m in a kind mood today) move was bringing up foundations in the first place since the Donald J. Trump Foundation is suspect to say the least. That is an area I wouldn’t want to go into if I were advising the Trump campaign. Yesterday I even pondered if it was a sabotage move on the part of Pence to set himself up for a 2020 run. Continue reading Shaky Foundation?
