American Flatline

My degree is in management and business types are known to be bottom line people. That is, in the final analysis the thing that matters most is the net profit or loss (the bottom line of the P&L statement). In health care there is a “bottom line” of sorts; it is the line(s) on the vital signs monitor that measures activity. When it goes flat you are dead. 1, 2, 3 But Not So Easy

It is difficult to make the call but I’ll go out on a limb and say the American Health Care Act (ACHA) was the biggest American political story of last week. I like pinning the tail on the donkey and we all know a synonym for donkey that starts with the letter “A” is very appropriate when you consider the most popular nickname for the bill is Trumpcare.
