As the evidence mounts that Trump knew of the coming coronavirus pandemic at least as early as January of this year yet chose to ignore it the irony that one of the hardest hit industries to date is the restaurant industry, considering that Trump ignored one of its guiding principles: The 6 P’s – Prior Planning Prevents Piss Poor Performance, is striking. Let’s explore. Continue reading 6 P’s With A Side Of Irony
Time and space constraints prevent me from making endorsements in every race I find a worthy candidate in. This is a race I hadn’t intended to touch earlier this year. I felt the Democrat would win; not in a landslide but still win. Then Pennsylvania held their primaries and a dangerous Trump endorsed white supremacist extremist won the GOP nod. I could no longer remain silent and expect others to get the job done. Today tellthetruthonthem.com endorses a more progressive than you might think Senator Ben Casey, Jr. for reelection in the Keystone State. Continue reading The Endorsement Of Bob Casey
Today’s article is another endorsement of what is generally considered to be a moderate Democratic Senate candidate running in a purple state. The reality is that any progressive and/or patriotic Missourian should vote to reelect Senator Claire McCaskill this November. Doubt me? Let’s explore. Continue reading The Endorsement Of Claire McCaskill
Thomas “Tip” O’Neill taught us that all politics is local. The candidate that you successfully run in one district or state would be a certain loser in another. For the second time in recent days tellthetruthonthem.com is endorsing a moderate candidate for reelection to the United States Senate. Today it is Senator Jon Tester of Montana. I’m certain I can convince progressives to support him. Let’s explore. Continue reading The Endorsement of Jon Tester
The final lineups are far from submitted for the 2016 November elections but some things are starting to look clearer. The top of the Republican ticket is very likely to be occupied by a radical. Currently Donald Trump and Ted Cruz, (in that order), are the favorites. That means the Democrats will look a lot more acceptable to many voters and they will start “checking the D box” at the top of their ballot. I am not among the optimists that feel the House will be in play but the Democrats certainly have an outstanding chance of taking back the Senate. That means that progressives have to rally behind electable and acceptable Democratic Senate candidates even if they are a little more moderate than we would prefer. Ohio’s Ted Strickland is one of these candidates and a Democratic victory in Ohio would almost certain portend a great evening for the Party. Continue reading The Endorsement Of Ted Strickland
