I just added Strangers in Their Own Land: Anger and Mourning on the American Right by  Arlie Russell Hochschild and Supreme Ambition: Brett Kavanaugh and the Conservative Takeover to the Recommended Reading List.

Strangers is the best of a series of books I have read on understanding the Trump voter.  Hochschild is a sociologist who spent years on the Cal-Berkley faculty.  Her training and professionalism shows!

Marcus did so much more than just chronical the Kavanaugh confirmation.    The behind the scenes looks and historical tidbits she outlines are priceless.
