Yesterday I added The Storm Before the Calm: America’s Discord, the Coming Crisis of the 2020s, and the Triumph Beyond by: George Friedman to the Recommended Reading List.

You don’t have to agree with every conclusion an author puts forth to see the value of their work (i.e. Ta-Nehisi Coates and Richard Haass).  You ignore their writing at your peril.

In this work Friedman predicts America’s near future based on what he theorizes is the near simultaneous collision of the ends and starts of both an industrial and a socioeconomic cycle that he contends  America has gone  through in its history.
