An Example For Thanks

Today is Thanksgiving Day in America. Traditionally we set this day aside to give thanks for the good things in life. While I spend most of my articles pointing out the bad things there are certainly things and more importantly people to be thankful for in America. Since it’s a holiday I’ll be very brief today.

I want to illustrate the good by pointing out a single person who represents the best of our public servants and the best of the collective us. My example is Lt. Colonel Alexander Vindman. During his testimony before the House Intelligence Committee on November 11th referring to America he said, “Here right matters.”

With parades, football, family and feasts to enjoy I’ll let you go. Despite how dark it sometimes appears there are a host of “Vindmans” to be thankful for.
