Grain

Grain. That’s what today’s article is about; both figurative and literal.
Late last week a deal brokered by the UN and Turkey between Ukraine and Russia to transport wheat was announced. That is a big deal. In advanced countries like the United States, it would help bring down food prices and in the process inflation. In the world’s poorest countries it would make the difference between starvation and life. Serious stuff!

I got what I wished for; but I was wrong! As 2024 looms Donald Trump is again the favorite for the GOP nod but let’s not concede it to him just yet.

I Can’t Forget; But I Can Learn

Most days are relatively uneventful; some are totally so. Then there are a few that will stick with you for the rest of your life. I’m a baby boomer and therefore wasn’t around on Sunday, December 7, 1941. However, I was on Friday, November 22, 1963 and Tuesday, September 11, 2001 along with Wednesday, January 6, 2021. I will never forget any of them.
