On more than one occasion I have written that Turkey, for a number of reasons, is the key to the Middle East. Today, for some of those same reasons, I am stating that it is the key to the outcome of the war in Ukraine.
Today is Memorial Day in America. It is the day we set aside to honor all our war dead. From the Revolutionary War on all those people died so that you and I can vote. It’s called democracy. We can (and I often do) question the war; but we should never disrespect the warrior! Nobody cuts their own orders.
The title of today’s article tells my personal story of the last several days. It all started when the news broke of another mass shooting in a school this time an elementary school in Uvalde, Texas.
It’s another swing state endorsement today. It is also another clear choice between the candidates!
