I hope I’m not getting ahead of myself but I think there may be reason to believe there is good news on the pandemic front in America.

At A Fork
It is Tuesday morning September 28, 2021 as I tap the keys of a computer’s keyboard to write this op-ed (yes, I still call them that). I see America at a crossroads with simultaneously much promise and much peril. There is no way I can cover all that in a few paragraphs – it would easily take volumes – but I’ll give it a go. Please come along for the brief ride.
Fortunate
It’s late Monday morning September 27, 2021 as I pen this and I’m feeling especially fortunate to be an American. I do a lot of complaining in this column and I feel justifiably so. Today I want to be all smiles and advice.
Send ‘Em Back?
There are a lot of people in a tizzy, and rightfully so, over the handling of Haitian refugees at the southern border. I’m not going to go into that situation today other than to use it to illustrate how ill prepared the world is for a coming much larger migrant problem. In case you haven’t noticed sea level is rising and we collectively are doing woefully little about it.
The First Four
Thursday the House Committee investigating 1/6 issued subpoenas to Steve Bannon, Mark Meadows, Kash Patel and Dan Scavino. This will be interesting to say the least!
