A few minutes before 9pm last Tuesday night I settled in front of one of several flat screen color televisions in my new townhouse in Wake Forest, North Carolina to watch President Obama’s farewell address to the nation. It is almost inevitable that we compare administrations including the incoming Trump administration. Trump only has 44 predecessors. To be fair, most of us don’t really know a lot about previous administrations prior to FDR’s except for a few of the real biggies like Washington and Lincoln.
