The Biggest Loser of 2016 (To Date)

It’s been nine days since Mike Pence dutifully introduced Donald Trump as the President-elect to a stunned America in the wee hours of a Wednesday morning. A bit of the dust is just starting to settle as we learn of and speculate about who will be in senior slots in the forthcoming Trump administration. I’ve known for days I was going to write this article. I was in a fill in the blank situation. Friday Donald Trump (it seems with some regret) filled in the blank. What surprises me is the spin I’m taking in penning this. Continue reading No Show If No Self-respect

Badly Blown Opportunity

In 1970 the musical group then known as the Chicago Transit Authority (now Chicago) had a hit, Does Anybody Really Know What Time It Is. With a little poetic license, that song reminded me of what I think has gone on in the Trump campaign over the last few days. This article is being written on Tuesday morning, predicting the occurrences of the entire day, for early Wednesday morning publication, but I’m willing to bet on the outcome already.
