Silence Of The Scams

Before I get into the theme of today’s article I’d like to take a moment to denounce some recent actions on the political left particularly Wednesday morning’s shooting in Virginia. This is most definitely not how we resolve our differences in America. Again, this act of domestic terrorism was facilitated by the ease with which people who should not have firearms can get them in America and the availability of weapons that simply do not belong in hands other than those of law enforcement and the military. I really don’t expect Congress to use their power to begin to correct this situation. If the death of twenty babies in Connecticut couldn’t trump the power of the gun lobby the wounding of one Representative from Louisiana certainly won’t.

The Continuing Saga Of Don Trump Goes To Washington

For months now I have compared the Trump administration to an organized criminal enterprise because, boiled down to basics, that is exactly what it is. Every day we are presented with multiple dots that don’t bode well for the Trump administration. With a little poetic license I will call them polka dots. That brought to mind Brian Hyland’s 1960 song, Itsy Bitsy Teenie Weenie Polkadot Bikini. Let’s explore. Continue reading Insufficient Material

The Evil Behind The Smokescreen

The core question most observers of American politics are asking themselves these days is: Is Donald Trump crazy or crazy like a fox? The next most prevalent is: Why are most Republicans and most of his core still supporting him? I have a theory on both of those, let’s explore. Continue reading The Evil Behind The Smokescreen

A Plea To Trump

It is early Wednesday morning as I commence writing this article intended for Thursday morning’s publishing. Early Tuesday evening my wife and I walked into a restaurant for dinner and the first thing I spotted was one of their televisions on CNN who was running a red banner with white writing that announced Trump’s firing of James Comey. Hours later I discovered I became aware of the firing the basically the same way Comey did. My dilemma was: How the hell am I supposed to cover this one? Let’s explore my attempt together.
