My President Is Very Bad At His Job And Here Is Part Of Why

Other than those who are his willfully ignorant enablers the entire world recognizes that Donald Trump is very bad at being President of the United States. Over the next few paragraphs I’d like to illustrate a few reasons why that is so. Let’s explore. Continue reading My President Is Very Bad At His Job And Here Is Part Of Why

It’s All About The Applause

As I start this article reviewing Donald Trump’s first State of the Union address I know I will have one major regret; I will not be able to cover everything I would like to because so much bad was packed into a single speech. That said, let’s explore. Continue reading It’s All About The Applause

My President Is A Deplorable Human Being

Polarization is a huge problem in contemporary American politics. If you use a Venn diagram to illustrate the positions of the right and left in this country one of the few places the circles would overlap is the respect for veterans, particularly those who gave their life in the line of duty. I have never worn the uniform of this country and have disagreed with almost every military action my country has taken in my lifetime. That in no way diminishes my respect for veterans. The last time I checked nobody in the military writes their own orders; they go where they are told, when they are told. One of the lowest things an American can do is use the military, especially a military death in the line of duty, for their self-aggrandizement. That is exactly what Donald Trump has done on multiple occasions. Let’s explore.       Continue reading My President Is A Deplorable Human Being

In “The Show”

Baseball players and serious fans often refer to the major leagues as “The Show”. The major leagues are where the biggest rewards (fame and fortune) are as well as where the spotlight shines the brightest. Boot a grounder in Class A ball and only a few hundred people will ever know. Boot that same grounder in the major leagues and it just might end up on Sports Center and be viewed by millions (not counting live TV, radio and nationally syndicated news columns). In politics often sins go relatively unnoticed until you reach the highest levels. Many House members toil in relative obscurity. Reach the Senate and certainly the presidency and the entire world seems to monitor your every action. I don’t think Donald Trump ever realized that. Let’s explore.       Continue reading In “The Show”

On Base: Donald Trump

Over the past few days I’ve noticed several “dots” somewhat hidden in the news. I think I may have connected them and if so I have a prediction to make. Let’s explore. Continue reading On Base: Donald Trump
