Silence Of The Scams

Before I get into the theme of today’s article I’d like to take a moment to denounce some recent actions on the political left particularly Wednesday morning’s shooting in Virginia. This is most definitely not how we resolve our differences in America. Again, this act of domestic terrorism was facilitated by the ease with which people who should not have firearms can get them in America and the availability of weapons that simply do not belong in hands other than those of law enforcement and the military. I really don’t expect Congress to use their power to begin to correct this situation. If the death of twenty babies in Connecticut couldn’t trump the power of the gun lobby the wounding of one Representative from Louisiana certainly won’t.

Russiagate and the organized criminal enterprise in the White House again topped the news last week. I’d like to take a look at some of the enablers and a prediction I can make. Let’s explore. Continue reading Silence Of The Scams

My President Is A Crook

On January 23, 2017 I published My President Is A Liar. The instances cited in that article came from just his first few days in office. In some ways this is a supplement to that article. Today I’m going to assert that he is also a crook and my evidence will come from his first few weeks in office. This tiger revealed his stripes very quickly. Let’s explore. Those Who Fail …

There is an axiom along the lines of: Those who fail to learn from history are doomed to repeat it. The proverb and its origin are themselves in some dispute. It appears the original version was not in English and therefore some things were literally lost in translation. In any event, the concept is both well-known and very true. I fear we are seeing a modern day example of it in Donald Trump’s selection of Rex Tillerson as his nominee to become Secretary of State. Let’s explore. Continue reading Those Who Fail …

Boy, Was I Stupid!

Especially this time of the year, I budget space for specific articles. I had budgeted today’s space for an article on Donald Trump’s promised December 15th press conference, (I guess they are no longer “press availabilities”), on how he was going to resolve his business conflicts of interest. Monday night he sent out a tweet (what else) saying that it was cancelled. No reschedule date was set. His transition team said that Trump was so busy concentrating on filling out his Cabinet that he hadn’t had the time to finalize the arrangements of his business affairs. Let’s explore. Continue reading Boy, Was I Stupid!

Administration Or Criminal Enterprise

On October 1st this site published an article entitled Don Trump in which I asserted that Trump was acting like a mafia don and running his businesses like a criminal enterprise. As his administration starts to take form it looks like he intends to run it like his businesses; in fact it may be difficult to differentiate the two. Effectively the Trump administration will be run for the financial benefit of Donald (a/k/a Don) Trump not the American people. Let’s explore. Continue reading Administration Or Criminal Enterprise
